VITALISMS | ICA SHANGAI – NYU

Until June 14, the Institute of Contemporary Arts at NYU Shanghai presents “Vitalisms”, a group exhibition featuring CAI Zebin, CAO Xiang, CUI Jie, GAO Xiaoyi, LI Ran, XIE Lingrou, and ZHENG Zhilin. The exhibition is part of the second season of ICA’s research program “Lightless Fires” (2024–26).
“Vitalisms”, organized by Michelle Yeonho Hyun, BAO Yang, ZHANG Yiying, and PENG Linru, is dedicated to contemporary painting in China and brings together emerging artists—trained in Chinese art academies—and their experimental artistic practices from the past five years.
