TRANSMEDIALE FESTIVAL 2025 | SILENT GREEN KULTURQUARTIER & HAUS DER KULTUREN DER WELT

From January 29 to February 2, the 38th edition of the transmediale festival, titled “(near) near but — far,” will take place in Berlin.
From ASMR battles with whispered trash talk to children who speak to their parents like Alexa, algorithms reform our human need for connection through the interfaces of our devices, influencing our politics, our labor, and our relationships with one another.
transmediale 2025 thus reflects on how technology can foster relationships capable of addressing contemporary challenges.

A rich program of conversations, screenings, performances, and interventions will take place at the Haus der Kulturen der Welt, while two days of workshops are scheduled at the silent green Kulturquartier.
