Residencia en Solentiname_open call

Solentiname Residency is an opportunity of exchange, sperimentation and reflection among local artists and guests, that will be host in the archipelago of Solentiname, located south of the Great Lake of Nicaragua, also called Lake Cocibolca.

Part of the Residency, more than working on their independent projects, artists are suggested to give a lecture about their work and conduct a workshop with local artists and artisans. The retreat is meant to stimulate creativity and reflection.

Residency is open to artists and curators. It’s possible to submit any kind of projects. Particularly appreciated are project dealing themes as the environment, historical memory, sustainable architecture, gender, popular culture, community experiences, relational art, art and poetry, photography and social anthropology.
