ORTIGIA CONTEMPORANEA ART FESTIVAL 2024 | ORTIGIA, SIRACUSA

ORTIGIA CONTEMPORANEA, the first international contemporary art festival in Sicily, will launch its inaugural edition on June 17th.
With the aim of promoting contemporary art, the festival involves both Italian and international artists and takes shape in the historic center of the city of Syracuse, surrounded by historical buildings and monuments.

The main event of the festival will be the group exhibition curated by Domenico de Chirico, in collaboration with Eleonora Angiolini. This pluralistic show features the artworks of twenty different artists in a heterogeneous mix of practices: painting, photography, video, sculpture, installation, performance.
To enrich the festival there will be a schedule of free events that involve also local artists.
