Opera Viva Barriera di Milano, The Billboard | OPEN CALL

Opera Viva Barriera di Milano, The Billboard is a call for visual artists launched by Flashback. This urban art project that wants to add meaning to the concept of public art thanks to the use of the pre-existent in conceiving the artwork, in the specific case a 6x3m municipality space for public billposting in Piazza Bottesini in Turin (Barriera di Milano) interpreted by national and international artists throughout the year.

On the occasion of the fair, the images of the posters – together with all the collected fragments of life – are gathered in one exhibition to narrate this window opened to the world and for the world.

The topic selected for this sixth edition of Opera Viva Barriera di Milano, the Billboard is – as for the fair – Ludens.

The call would select 2 artworks, and it is open for international artists with no age limits.

The application form must be signed and filled in all its parts. Applicant must also send a short cv with the training background and participation to exhibitions, if any and the image of the work subject to the application (in JPG, 150 dpi format, dimensions in cm 58 x 30 height) complete with captions.
