OPEN CALL FOR ARTISTS | A DIMORA, MONTAGNA FIORENTINA

“A dimora” is an artist residency program now in its third edition, part of the Montagna Fiorentina project. Its goal is to strengthen the connection between the natural and urban environments and the people who inhabit them, promoting shared cultural identities and enhancing the value of the territory.
The residency will take place in June and July 2025 in the municipality of Londa (FI), on the border between Tuscany and Emilia-Romagna.

The call is open to artists who are at least 18 years old, have an excellent command of the Italian language, hold a valid driver’s license, and own a personal means of transportation. Group participation is also allowed, provided all members meet the required criteria.
The five selected artists will be invited to create artworks in any form (sculpture, photography, performance, video, etc.) inspired by key themes of Londa, including the redevelopment of physical spaces, ecosystem services, mountain care, intangible cultural heritage, and new economic models.
