Fotopub | Open Call 2019

International festival of contemporary art and cultures Fotopub is searching for project proposals to be exhibited at the upcoming edition, which will be held in Novo Mesto, Slovenia, from 30 July to 3 August 2019.

Fotopub Festival exhibits a series of new projects by various artists, presenting emerging practices and new approaches to the general public and a large group of established international arts professionals invited to the festival. It is possible to submit project proposals for group exhibitions at which can be either: A project proposal from an individual artist to be exhibited as part of one of the group exhibitions; an exhibition proposal from a collective and/or curator (including two to maximum five artists with or without a curator).

Each group exhibition will receive a 1000 EUR commission and, additionally, the festival will cover costs of accommodation for each of the selected artists and curators, provides an exhibition space, technical support and a place at Fotopub Portfolio Review to each of the artists exhibiting as part of the six main festival’s exhibitions. Furthermore, each of the projects presented at Fotopub Festival will be included in the official festival catalogue, which is published by the end of the calendar year in print and online.
