FESTIVAL FEMMINISTA, III EDIZIONE | CENTRO PECCI, PRATO

The third edition of the Feminist Festival is currently taking place in Prato, organized by the Ipazia association with the support of Cesvot and the sponsorship of the Province and Municipality.
This year’s festival, dedicated to the memory of Giulia Cecchettin, features a series of engaging talks, workshops, performances, and meetings held at various locations throughout the month of February.

“Bruciamo tutto! Femminicidi: memorie e narrazioni” (Burn It All! Femicide: memories and narratives) is the event scheduled for Saturday, February 15, at 4:00 PM in the Sala Bianca of Centro Pecci. The talk will include contributions from Francesca Ranaldi (head of the La Nara Anti-Violence Center), Anna Bardazzi, and Elena Amato.
Meanwhile, on Saturday, February 22, also at 4:00 PM in the Sala Bianca of Centro Pecci, Porpora Marcasciano, Valeria Parrella, and Livia Gionfrida will discuss the topic of prisons and the living conditions of women (and others) in penitentiaries in a talk titled “Detenut* invisibili” (Invisible prisoners).

For the talks at the Centro Pecci, Italian Sign Language (LIS) interpretation and translation services will be available, and children’s workshops will be held during the event.
