Currents new media 2021

CURRENTS New Media 2021 festival is now open for applications.

2021 Festival Dates: June 18 – 27

Due to pandemic uncertainties the Organization Board is planning for both an Online Festival and making initial plans for a smaller onsite festival in Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA

This Year Submissions for CURRENTS New Media 2021 festival will include only 3 Categories:

• Virtual/Augmented/Mixed Reality Environments
• Multimedia Performance
• Desktop Experiences

Levels of compensation will depend on our own funding situation and will be discussed with artists under consideration.

All submissions must be upload online

Work Samples

• Video documentation or work samples must be viewable online (personal website, YouTube, Vimeo, Dropbox, etc)
• uploaded hi-res photos and video still captures should be no larger than 3MB .jpg only

Deadline: Monday, February 1, 2021
