Cripta 747 Residency Programme

Cripta 747 announces the open call for proposal for the fifth edition of the Residency Programme, a process-based residency that provides a fellowship and gives the opportunity to live and work in Turin between the months of September – December 2021.
This edition is open to Italian artists, curators and researchers or foreign citizens currently living in Italy, who show a strong, coherent and recognisable research in both material and conceptual production.The spirit of openness that have always characterised Cripta747 guarantees to the resident the development of his individual projects and, at the same time, to fit into the Turin cultural and artistic context, encouraging growth, experimentation and the exchange between local and foreign artists, art professionals and the public.
The winner will be selected by a scientific committee that will support the curatorial team of Cripta747 for the entire season and will attend the artist in residence. The fellowship is € 5,750.
For the application the participants must: 

• fill in the online form; 
• submit CV and portfolio to residency@cripta747.it 

All the participants must submit a description of the project proposal that they want to develop in residence, specifying the importance and benefits expected from this experience. The project doesn’t have to be finished at the end of residency, so the research can have possible future developments. In addition, the selected resident has to propose an idea of educational activity (eg: workshop, talk, seminar or performance) that directly involves the public, by the end of the residency.
