Carte Blanche Étudiants 2021
Paris Photo, in collaboration with Picto Foundation and SNCF Gares & Connexions, are happy to announce the third edition of Carte Blanche Students, a platform of the discovery and promotion of emerging photographers in Europe. The aim of this call is to support the careers of 4 students, with a bachelor’s or Master’s degree in photography or visual arts throughout Europe, to give them the exceptional opportunity to take part in Paris Photo 2021 and to exhibit their projects in one of the six SNCF train stations in Paris (Gare du Nord, Gare de l’Est, Gare d’Austerlitz, Gare Montparnasse, Gare Saint-Lazare, Gare de Lyon).
To participate in this call for entries, each participant must follow the regulations and:
– complete the application form in its entirety in either French or English
– pay a participation fee of € 20 (twenty euros), non-refundable
– upload a school certificate as proof of attendance for the current year (stating the degree programme and year)
– upload a description of your project (1 page maximum) and a selection of images (2 pages maximum) in a PDF document (not to exceed a total of 3 pages and 5Mb)
The 4 winning projects or series will be selected by a jury of experts as the most creative, original, accurate and the most susceptible to being best adapted to the exhibition spaces at one of SNCF’s six train stations in Paris.
The deadline is June 4, 2021.
