ANTHRODAY 2025 | CASA DEGLI ARTISTI, MILANO

From February 20 to 22, the new edition of World Anthropology Day will take place, an initiative promoted by the American Anthropological Association. This event views anthropology as a dynamic discipline, no longer solely focused on preserving the past but rather as a tool to understand the present and contribute to shaping the future.
This year, under the theme “Futures, Emerging Denied Alternative”, the initiative aims to bring anthropology into neighborhoods, schools, workplaces, and leisure spaces.

Casa degli Artisti will take part in the event by hosting four discussions on February 21 and 22, 2025, where scholars will engage in dialogue with artists from the “AAA Atelier Aperti per Artista” residency. Together, they will explore circuits that challenge bio-capitalist logics, rediscovering the creative power of utopias and collective imagination.
